The core of all C&N Footlockers is constructed of 3/8" solid aspen plywood that we have custom made for us in Michigan.
This lightweight yet durable plywood makes up the side walls and the tops and bottoms of every footlocker we produce.
All C&N Footlockers are encased with a steel sheet metal. The steel exterior coupled with our 3/8" solid plywood core
provides superior strength. Our steel is finished with a premium grade, lead-free, baked-on enamel. The finish
receives a textured varnish top coat that is scratch-resistant so that your footlocker not only lasts forever but looks
great too.
The inside of all C&N Footlockers is covered with our DuraWrap Liner which is water-resistant and virtually
tear-proof. Caution: Some trunk interiors are not lined or sealed. Raw wood will absorb
the odors from damp swimsuits or smelly clothing.
Our corner protectors are custom made for us. If your footlocker is dropped on a corner you will hardly
notice any damage. Older style "ball corners" typically dent when the corner takes a hit.
Our rugged lock hasp accomodates most standard padlocks to give you more security than the typical trunk. It also has
a handle built into it so pulling your trunk out from under a bed is easy. Caution:
Most trunks come with a lock built in and the exact same key news every lock. These locks can also be popped open
in seconds with a screwdriver or a butterknife. Most of these locks provide a loop for a real padlock but even this
loop can popped off with little effort.
Our Glide & Go Tray is a C&N Footlockers exclusive. The lightweight, rigid-nylon tray glides across the inside of
your footlocker giving you easy access to the contents below. The clear, snap-on lid lets you quickly see what's
inside and contains spills from potentially leakable items. Best of all its much less cumbersome to handle than
the typical footlocker tray. One Glide & Go Tray comes FREE with every C&N Footlocker.
Caution: Many companies charge an extra $10-$20 for a tray.
Every C&N Footlocker comes with our Lifetime Free-Repair Warranty. If your footlocker is ever broken or
