Wheel Away System

Our new, patented Wheel Away™ System is a revolutionary solution for summer campers. We attach a simple steel bracket that does not change the height of the footlocker. The wheels are instantly popped on and then removed with a simple tug, all without using tools. Large, 4” PVC wheels handle rough camp terrain. Once in the cabin take them off and slide the footlocker under the bunk. Kids with footlockers loaded up for camp will really appreciate the Wheel Away™ System. We even include a cinch sack for safely storing your wheels.

Please note: The footlocker shown is not included. Wheel Away System includes the bracket, a set of wheels, and a cinch sack. The Wheel Away™ System only works on C&N Footlockers.

Wheel Away System Pros: My husband especially likes this product as it keeps him from carrying our daughters footlocker. In addition, the wheels are durable and handle the rough terrain.

Airport Friendly Pros: These wheels are easy to snap on and off the footlocker. Then clip the duffel on top and a month's worth of camp supplies is easily wheeled through the airport.

Rollin' Right Along Pros: Sturdy wheels that easily allow us to transport the MEGA Graduate Footlocker fully loaded. They store easily in their little bag inside of the trunk when not needed. A must if you will be traveling with your footlocker!

Re-invent the Wheel! Pros: What a smart addition to the heavy, hard to move camp trunk. I was very surprised and pleased with how easy it was to pop in the wheels and pop them out for storage. Adding the wheels makes it easy for one person to maneuver an overstuffed trunk. I would absolutely recommend this add-on to anyone buying a C&N Footlocker trunk.

Wheel Away System Pros: These wheels are better than nothing. Cons: Have ordered system several times and often have received wheels that did not snap in securely and had to be replaced. Insufficient clearance between wheels and trunk prevent wheels from spinning. We had to place washers on spindles to create enough clearance for trunk to roll. Also the leather handle is too tight to pull trunk easily. Should have an extension rod like a rolling suitcase. Comments: Your customer service is GREAT! Friendly and responsive. C&N Footlockers Response: Thank you for your review. Since your footlocker has leather handles it sounds like you tried attaching the wheel system to one of our older model footlockers. It should still work, even with the older model footlocker, but it sounds we have tried to resolve this situation and have not been successful. We are very sorry that the Wheel Away System did not work for you.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE! Pros: Easy, inexpensive, worth thier weight in gold when moving through an airport! Cons: None. An absolutely perfect addition to my camp trunks. Comments: The Wheel Away system is the only way to go when heading to camp with a full trunk. I have several trunks, each for different activities, and each with a set of Wheel Aways installed. They are a breeze when moving through the airport, and when loading your trunk on a bus or van. Do yourself a favor and get these when you order your trunk. You won't regret it!

Love the Wheel Away System Comments: Both of my kids have the Wheel Away System on their summer camp trunks. The wheels are easy for them to install and remove. They roll easily over rough terrain and are easy to keep up with in their bag.

Left them on the whole summer... Pros: My daughter really appreciated her Wheel Away as she had to move her trunk herself! They worked great and were easy to take on and off. Quite worth the money. And she liked the color choice!
